Pluvia EP out soon!

I have a new EP coming up, introducing my new project "Pluvia". It is a solo project focusing more on the deeper side of trance. The EP, featuring the tracks "Don't Cry For Me" and "Liber Heliandum" (lat., n., child of the sun), will be out soon on your favourite (digital) record stores :)

Remixers on duty are C-Systems, Sinfour and Mysterious Movement.

"Christian Zechner is no stranger to Unearthed Records with several awesome releases already on the label such as November Mourning, Sunlight and Planet Earth. Here, once again, we are proud to present two of his latest offerings under his Pluvia guise. The first track on the EP is entitled Don't Cry For Me, which is a great melodic trancer with a bouncy bassline, haunting melody and great vibe.

First up on remix duties is C-Systems with their Cruisin' Mix. Another great mix as always from the C-Systems gang with their usual driving basslines, superbly programmed synth lines and epic melody lines.

Next up in Sinfour who has brought us an awesome proggy remix of Don't Cry For Me. Knocking the tempo down a few bpm but still using the original elements over a smooth bassline and great percussion this is a perfect set builder.

For the flipside of this EP, Zechner brings us Liber Heliandum which is a touch more on the melodic tip. An awesome riff is the centrepiece of this track, once again surrounded by Christian's brilliant production.

Completing the release is a remix from Mysterious Movement who has taken the track apart and built it back up again from scratch in his own style. Watch out for the breakdown on this one, pianos and choirs to make your hairs stand on end!"

Rainy mood

I've entered weekend-mode, and during a surfing session I stumbled across a simple, but pretty nice web app.

If you're like me, you enjoy the rainy days during summer. There's just something calming and relaxing about the sound of raindrops on the window whilst watching a movie and having a hot cup of coffee. The smell of a fresh summer rain is like nothing else!

Rainy mood is a website that puts the rain (albeit without the smell) right inside your living room. I find it pretty nice when I'm relaxing, when I can't sleep or just having it as background sound when working on school assignments.

Upcoming MR-2 remix on 7th Gate Recordings

MR-2, the new trance project by former C-Systems mates Akki and Christian Zechner, soon gets their debut release on 7th Gate Recordings.

The track As the Sky Turns Black, produced by label boss John Aleo aka Angra Mainyu, recently received the MR-2 treatment and is now available for preview on the label website!

Dreams released on our own label Infravibe Recordings

"Akki & Christian Zechner feat. Aina - Dreams"

It is with great pride we present our newly started label, Infravibe Recordings, with its first release "Akki & Christian Zechner feat. Aina - Dreams".

Christian Zechner teamed up with the more unknown, yet very talented Akki Hisham in July 2005 for producing a more commercial sounding vocal trance tune. This tune was finished in November the same year, with vocals by Aina Haaland.

The radio hit "Dreams" went straight into NRK mPetre's B-list in November 2005, and stayed put for four weeks before entering the A-list where it caused havoc for an amazing nine weeks. "Dreams" have also been a regular at the top of mPetre's hit chart "10 i skuddet", and entered at #2 in week 51, 2005. We can safely say that our initial goal of getting this tune playlisted in Norwegian radio was more than accomplished. We'd like to thank everyone for their great comments and feedback, and thanks a lot to those who vote "Dreams" into the top of "10 i skuddet" every week.

Dreams gaining airplay on MPetre

This summer's collaboration track "Akki & CZ featuring Aina - Dreams" has spent the last 4 weeks in the B-list at Norway's biggest radio station for EDM, NRK mPetre. This week, however, it has climbed up to the A-list, outranking and gaining more airplay than the likes of The Thrillseekers, Rank 1, Above & Beyond and 4 Strings! Our tune is also a contestant for the top 10 chart, "10 i skuddet". We are currently looking for a label who wants to sign this 4 minute radio trancer, so if you have any suggestions, please don't hesitate to contact me about it!

Stellar Winds in Mixmag!

Stellar Winds promos have been out for a while now. Released on UK label Spectrum Sounds (SS03t) May 19th, it's already sold out on 4DJsOnly, Hard To Find Records, Banging Tunes and Chemical Records, but still available for purchase on Vinyl24.de and DJShop.ch.

Also featured on the 15th spot in the June edition of MixMag:
